But first, a word about what Breathless is and isn’t. It’s a novella-length update on what Ghost and Macy of the Ross series have been up to. It isn’t a story I’d recommend jumping into if you aren’t familiar with the series and where it left off. So, although I do strive to write each of these books as a standalone, if you have not read Leave Me Breathless and Watch Me Fall, in particular, you might be a bit lost. Maybe not lost, but you will have missed out on things that will most certainly matter in Breathless.
